Stones. Relics from the depths of the Earth. I’ve had a rock collection since my early childhood; I love to envisage the journey that these stones have had — where they were first created, how long have they existed, what have these listless bearers of history seen through the years?! And still, to this day, wherever I am, I’m always passively scouting for a cool pebble to toss into my pocket. So imagine my enjoyment when overhauling my backyard I came upon a plethora of large rocks and chunks of cement. While attempting to figure out what exactly to do with them, these beautiful stones have been patiently waiting, doing what they do best, not moving. I eventually took that idea and turned it into a project where I could show off these rocks in a beautiful and functional way.
