I’m fried. I had hoped I would have lasted longer. However, with two real weeks left of classes and two huge projects looming over my head, I’ve simply run out of juice. I can’t seem to concentrate, I’m exhausted after missing countless nights of sleep, and I’m creatively defunct, not to mention, just plain tired of school. I was hoping to go out with a bang…but now I feel I am going out with a sigh. And right now, sadly, I’m okay with that.

It seems as though despite the accomplishments you have made, (the years of school completed), you still feel unmoved. Ask yourself if you are afraid of change. It is quite a paradox, however, to ask a person scared of change to—err, change it!
We have a tendency to get burned out of our activities if they show us no immediate reward. Although I am not in the latter days of my education yet, I can assume that the experience can be quite numbing. I mean, after all, the excitement of expanding your mind is gone. The thought of another way of life looms over you–an inescapable fear that grows rapidly.
My dear, I sympathize with you mainly because of our era. We are no longer in the days of ‘hard work and high pay is a stigma of our character’! It seems as though the inverse is true now. We learn much, but have the curse that we question all of it as we go along. Are we feeding a materialistic society? Are we becoming slaves of a cause that we do not even agree with?
Here is something that might help with your motivational difficulties in school: remember that all knowledge and purity within our intentions are the things that make the difference! When writing papers, especially the ones I definitely don’t want to do, I learn so much about my opinion and abilities. This could be the same with your projects. Putting your best effort into them can enlighten you upon the greater goal. Your personal discovery is waiting—go get it!
